Law school and the legal profession are stressful. Mindfulness can be an essential tool to manage that stress and to be a better advocate! Join us as we learn together how pausing to breathe can improve our personal and professional lives.
No experience is necessary! Even if you’ve never meditated before or think you’re “bad” at meditation, join us! The purpose of our Mindfulness community is to support others wherever they’re at.
Each Monday (except holidays), we’ll roughly follow this schedule:
1:00-1:20pm Eat Lunch and Chat
1:20-1:40pm Meditation Practice
1:40-2:00pm Discussion of Practice
Sometimes we’ll have special guests (i.e., local legal practitioners) to lead our sits. Most often, it’ll be led by students, staff, or faculty!
So bring your lunch and get mindful. All are welcome-students, visiting scholars, faculty, staff.
